Poor Patients Treatment Fund (PPTF)

Aim & Objective

This fund is created to provide financial assistance to the Poor/Deprived patients who do not have a BPL/Ration card and the Destitute patients.

Features

It is an internal fund of AIIMS Bhubaneswar funded by internal resources. Only admitted patients can avail this fund during treatment at the hospital.

The Poor/Deprived & Destitute patients.

Treatment Coverage & Benefits

Treatment expenditure of up to ₹50,000/- is covered under this scheme on the recommendation of the committee consisting of the Head of the concerned Department, the Medical Superintendent, and the Director’s Nominee. The maximum limit for treatment under PPTF is ₹2 lakhs which will be given after the recommendation of the committee and is approved by the Director, Deputy Director, and Financial Advisor.

Procedure to Apply & Documents Required

The treating Doctor recommends the PPTF and forwards the application to the Committee for approval. On approval, the patient or his/her attendant may visit Amrit pharmacy with an approval copy to get medicine and consumables.

  • Admission slip.
  • Estimation copy from Amrit pharmacy.
  • Aadhaar Card.
  • Ration card, if available.
